The aim of the study course is to provide an understanding of the theory of real estate marketing and the development of the real estate market in Latvia. Students learn the concept of real estate marketing, learn the essence and content of marketing. Students gain knowledge about the segmentation of the real estate market and the price of real estate. The study course provides knowledge about the exposure of real estate on the market and real estate market research.
1. Knows - the content of real estate marketing, the development of the real estate market and the current situation in it, as well as the policy of real estate pricing - seminars and practical work.
2. Is able to apply knowledge about determining the price of real estate, its exposure in the real estate market - seminars and practical work.
3. Is able to apply the acquired knowledge and practical skills about the real estate market, factors influencing it - seminars and practical work.
4. Be able to critically evaluate their knowledge and skills, be able to be responsible for the quality of their work - seminars and practical work, tests, test work.

Part-time studies:
All topics indicated for full-time attendance are implemented, but the number of contact hours is 1/2 of the indicated number of hours.
The test consists of:
• successful written tests on the theoretical material learned in the study course and a test paper on the material learned in the study course;
• successfully completed and passed seminars and practical work;
• successfully completed independent work.
Preparation of descriptions of the progress of practical work. Study of scientific and study literature (regulatory documents, monographs, scientific articles and their collections, conference and seminar materials, specialized scientific periodicals) indicated by the lecturer, necessary for the acquisition of professional competencies of the study course.
The test is received:
1) if the student has attended 75% or more of the total number of classes, then the student has the opportunity to receive a cumulative assessment, which consists of successfully written tests, completed and credited seminars and practical work, and successfully completed independent work;
2) if the student has attended less than 75% of the total number of classes or is studying according to an individual study plan, then after successfully written tests, completed and credited seminars and practical work, and successfully completed independent work, the student takes a written test on the material learned in the study course.
