Course abstract

Within the framework of professional practice, the student becomes acquainted with the administrative, organizational, and technological processes related to real estate management activities in a municipality, the State Land Service, or a private company, depending on where the student chooses to complete the internship. During the internship, the student can enhance their theoretical knowledge by practically participating in one of the real estate management activities—such as cadastral work, cadastral valuation of real property, spatial/territorial planning, or land-use planning and land development project design.

Learning outcomes and their assessment

Knows and understands real estate management work. Evaluated according to the professional practice report.
Is able to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge in practice, perform work carefully and accurately and work independently. Evaluated according to the professional practice report.

Able to independently acquire, select and analyze information and data and use the acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills in real estate management. Evaluated according to the professional practice report

Course Content(Calendar)

Full-time, on-site studies:
1. Arrival at the internship placement. Familiarization with the organization and the types of work carried out there. Definition of internship tasks in accordance with the instructions of the company’s internship supervisor and the regulations of the ZIGI professional practice “Real Estate Management.”
2. Completion of internship tasks in accordance with the instructions of the company’s internship supervisor.
3. Preparation and defense of the internship report.

Part-time, distance studies:
All topics specified for full-time, on-site studies are implemented.

Requirements for awarding credit points

During the internship, the student is required to perform the duties assigned by the company’s internship supervisor, who evaluates the quality of their performance in a written assessment of the intern. During the internship, the student must prepare an internship report signed by the company’s internship supervisor, which must be submitted and defended at the institute. The professional internship is assessed on a “pass” basis.

Description of the organization and tasks of students’ independent work

The student must independently prepare an internship report describing the internship placement and providing information on the tasks performed during the internship, accompanied by illustrative graphical materials.

Criteria for Evaluating Learning Outcomes

The student receives a “Pass” grade for the prepared internship report in accordance with the internship regulations and the LBTU MVZF requirements for the formatting of academic papers, based on the answers to questions regarding the work completed during the internship and the internship supervisor’s evaluation.
